On our advertising, "Doors" are when the venue opens their doors to let people in, "Show" or "Showtime" Is when the glitter and glam begins! For the sake of other audience members, being late is highly discouraged.

At every House of Burluxe show, you can expect the best in entertainment. Classic burlesque. Neo-classic glamour. Fan dances. Fringe. Feather boas. Jazz. Skin. We do it all — and we do it with professional experience. Every show is polished and dripping in spectacle: think feather fans sweeping the air, glittering pasties catching the light, long, slow zippers being unzipped, and comedy sharp enough to draw blood.

Sexy. Sensual. Old-School glamor. Political. Campy. Queer. Inclusive. Come for the fantasy. Stay for the revolution.

As some of our performers have day jobs and family, with our shows (or any other burlesque show), photography and/or videography is not allowed without explicit permission from the producer.

We love applause and appreciation, and the more you show it, the more of a show you get! Clap, cheer, whistle, and even better—TIP!

HOWEVER—lewd, crude, and socially unacceptable behavior will get you ousted never to return. This includes heckling, comments about bodies, demands, disruptions, or harassment of any nature.

And as with the rest of society—CONSENT IS MANDATORY on both sides. Enthusiastic nod or a"yes!" is a yes. No, means NO.

Touching performers is NEVER permitted unless invited and encouraged. On occasion, a performer might physically interact with an audience member. If you do not want to be touched or pulled up on stage, or engaged with in the audience, a simple holding up your hand in a "stop" motion, or crossing your forearms in an 'X' motion in front of you will do the trick!
